Privacy and local processing
This notice explains how BDSM Prism handles information in the current production design. Last updated: September 29, 2026.
Operator and contact
BDSM Prism operates this website. For privacy questions or a request about information handled by the site, contact support@bdsmprism.com. Please do not send intimate details, test answers, or identifying documents by email unless we specifically request them for a documented support matter.
What happens in your browser
- Question answers and draft progress may be stored in this browser’s local storage. An expired draft is removed when you revisit the test after seven days; it is not deleted in the background at the expiry time.
- Scores, charts, Kink Sheet states, and comparison results are computed in browser memory or local storage.
- A result link can contain information after #. Requests for this site's result page do not include that fragment. A platform share button puts the complete result link into the platform URL's query, where the platform may receive it. Anyone who receives the complete link may read the result.
- Conversation worksheet fields remain in page memory; the app does not intentionally persist or upload them. A normal reload does not restore a draft through the app, but browser back/forward cache or form restoration may retain it. Switching language can discard the draft.
- After reviewing the worksheet notes and explicitly confirming, the app opens the browser or system print interface; it does not download a PDF. Print previews, queues, paper, a file you choose to save through your device, screenshots, extensions, input methods, and backups may leave traces outside the app. Clearing the page cannot remove those traces or guarantee that printing or saving succeeded.
Site measurement and optional analytics
Cookieless operational telemetry may run automatically to measure page delivery, reliability, and performance. It does not use cookies or browser storage. Measurements may include a requested path, page-view and timing data, coarse device or browser characteristics, and an approximate country or region. A sensitive-flow path can reveal which feature was opened, but the application does not configure this telemetry to include answers, scores, result labels, Kink Sheet choices, comparison codes, worksheet fields, or URL fragments.
Optional audience analytics are separate. On a fresh public page load, the application does not load that service before you choose “Allow analytics”, or after you deny it. If you reopen Analytics settings after allowing it, the application stops its own page-view events and sends a denied consent update; choosing not to use analytics reloads the public page so the application-controlled script is not loaded in the new document. This does not undo requests sent before your choice.
The application-controlled audience analytics service is not loaded on the quiz, result, Kink Sheet, comparison, or conversation worksheet flows. App links from a public page to these flows, and an age-gate redirect to a sensitive flow, open a fresh document instead of carrying an already executed audience-measurement script through a client-side transition. Network providers, browser extensions, browser restoration, and user-initiated sharing remain outside that application-controlled boundary.
What this site does not collect
- No account, profile, phone number, uploaded answer sheet, result database, Kink Sheet database, or comparison-code database.
- No advertising, remarketing, social pixel, or research collection is part of the current production product.
- The app does not sell test answers or result data. The site cannot control the privacy practices of a service or person with whom you voluntarily share a link.
Network processing and deliberate sharing
Like any web service, network, hosting, security, and delivery providers may process request data needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, and requested path. The application does not add its own answer or result logging. We describe service providers by their role rather than publishing an operational vendor inventory; you may contact us for information relevant to an applicable privacy request.
A result fragment, screenshot, browser history entry, or comparison code can reveal sensitive preferences if you choose to share it. Check the recipient and the channel before sharing, and clear local browser data on shared devices.
Local deletion and preferences
Age acknowledgement expires after 30 days; on a later visit, the site checks its expiry before allowing access, but the expired local value may remain until you clear site data. Quiz drafts expire after seven days and are removed when you revisit the test, not by a timed background deletion. You can remove drafts, age acknowledgement, theme preference, and analytics choice through your browser’s site-data controls. The footer’s Analytics settings button lets you choose again.
Requests, applicable rights, and policy changes
Because local processing is designed not to create a personal answer record on our servers, there is normally no account or answer record for us to retrieve or delete. You may contact support@bdsmprism.com. We will consider requests under privacy laws that apply to the particular situation and will explain if we need more information to identify a request.
We may update this notice when the product, analytics settings, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated with material changes.
